CYFS 20 Year Anniversary
Overview
The Nebraska Center for Research on Children, Youth, Families and Schools marked its 20th anniversary in 2024. To celebrate this milestone, the Kindred Media team created an integrated marketing campaign to engage internal and external audiences. Campaign elements include print and digital communications, special installations, swag items and events.

Branding
An anniversary seal is featured on all CYFS communications and promotional materials, including email signatures, Zoom backgrounds, signage, floor decals, swag items and social media assets.
Video production
Videos feature interviews with various collaborators to help bring the center’s story to life. The videos showcase the center’s broad partnerships with faculty, students, practitioners, research participants and state organizations.
Graphic Design
Various collateral pieces increase awareness of the anniversary: a special edition annual report, vinyl banners, floor decals, postcards, notepads, stickers, sticky notes and social media graphics.
Event Planning
Nearly 200 people attend “CYFS@20: Research That Shapes the Future” to mark the center’s anniversary and learn about its vision for the future. The catered event includes remarks from University of Nebraska President Jeffrey Gold, UNL Chancellor Rodney Bennett, CYFS Founding Director Susan Sheridan and a keynote by Mark Greenberg, Penn State University. A special breakfast was also hosted for a limited audience of staff and faculty.
